Diagnostic Wax-Up includes: Prep Guide, 3D-printed White Resin Model of CAD Wax-Up, and Stent of Wax-Up
1) PREP GUIDE: A physical preparation guide model is included, to demonstrate where and how much to reduce to achieve the best possible alignment & results as shown on the final model(s). In the case of No-Prep and Minimal Prep veneers, every effort is taken to stay in enamel for optimal bond strength.
2) DIAGNOSTIC WAX-UP MODEL: The CAD-designed Diagnostic model is 3D-printed in a brilliant white material that will excite your patient with the possibilities of their new smile.
3) STENT: A stent of the Diagnostic design serves multiple purposes. In addition to creating temporaries if needed, an increasingly popular tool is to give the patient a “Test Drive” of their potential new look by using temp material over their existing teeth to experience the possibilities first hand. The stent is also a valuable tool when prepping to insure that adequate reduction has been achieved.
